ChatGPT Work adds a Data agent that builds shareable dashboards from plain-language questions

Getting a clear picture of where a project stands (hours burned, fees remaining, which deliverables are slipping) usually means asking someone else to pull the numbers, or waiting for the monthly report. OpenAI added a Data agent to ChatGPT Work this week that connects to files in Google Drive and SharePoint and answers those questions in plain language, then turns the answer into a shareable interactive dashboard. The whole thing runs inside a single ChatGPT conversation, and follow-up questions refine the result without starting over. Administrators set which data sources connect and which staff can use them, so existing access rules carry through. It is listed as 'Data' in the Plugins directory inside ChatGPT Work.
